Are incredibly kind and fun-loving souls! I begin all of these stories by saying I don't consider myself a wedding photographer. Truth be told, traditional weddings make me itch. What I do, however, is document chapters in the lives of those who are drawn to my eye for celebrating their story. I look for the small moments and the laugh lines. I seek the details that tell the story of what's unfolding. I thoughtfully plan how to capture the people and moments that are most precious to you. It was an honor to capture this small, intimate wedding at home in Emerald Isle, NC. They were surrounding by family and friends and, of course, TOBY. I lovingly tease at how easily you could devote an entire SD card to images of their beloved bulldog. Following their intimate ceremony was a reception in Downtown Swansboro. RECEPTION AT DINI'S MARTINIS
After the ceremony, the couple took a shuttle with family and friends over to Dini's Martinis in Downtown Swansboro for a reception. The friends kept me laughing through the afternoon and it was such a perfect way to celebrate the couple with those they love most.
