NEUTRAL IS BEST

You've scheduled a photoshoot, but what to wear?! When in doubt, neutral is best!

By choosing neutral tones, you will not clash with bold color palettes in your home and your images will have a timeless look about them. Small patterns are best and avoid large logos or prints. Leave the tennis shoes at home! When in doubt about shoes, I truly prefer barefoot options. Mama's, a dress is a great choice. Make sure it has some movement to it and no undergarments will show if you need to lift a child.

I LEAN TOWARDS COOL TONES ON THE COAST

Personally, I love to play with the blues of our Crystal Coast. It's a nice contrast to the golden hour skies and colorful sunsets of our Fall. Tip: Colors can reflect on skin tones. If you have redness or red undertones in your skin, steer clear of red, orange, and pink in your outfit choices.

Location: We are either shooting indoors where your clothes will need to balance the colors/decor of your home or we may be shooting outside near trees (greens) or by the water (blues). These are all factors in determining what you might wear to a session. Remember art class? The color wheel is a great tool for coordinating colors based on the colors in your environment.
