My mother hated having her picture taken. Sourcing photos for the funeral home took days and it was a painful experience amidst one of the most difficult times of our lives. In recent years, there were very few pictures with all of us both because she didn't enjoy it but also because as we get older, we don't MAKE the time to prioritize these moments. Tomorrow is never promised, and I wasn't going to let another day slide by that I didn't capture my dad with the kids. As sensitive as it felt at this time, we snapped photos of the kids with their grandfather, and I encourage you to do the same.

SHE'S ALWAYS WITH US
My mom loved this place and this view. During her last days, I'm told she wished to leave to leave the hospital to sit and enjoy this view one more time. As a way to honor her and to remind my children that she is always with us, I curated this image to cherish in our home and hearts forever.
