Senior year is a whirlwind of college visits, goodbyes, and new adventures just around the corner. Photographing seniors on the beach always feels poetic: the open sky, the waves, the sense of limitless possibility. Every session is different, because every senior is. Some are shy and reflective; others bold and adventurous.
My role is to see them as they are right now and create images that capture that feeling before it changes.
The coastal light is magical this time of year! It softens edges, reflects confidence, and tells stories words can’t. Whether we’re shooting along the dunes or near the pier, there’s always a moment that feels honest and true.
Parents often watch from the sidelines with that mix of pride and disbelief ... how did time go so quickly? It’s one of my favorite parts of the session: seeing that shared emotion between generations.
These portraits aren’t just about marking a milestone. They’re about legacy. They’ll hang in your home long after diplomas are framed, a daily reminder of who your child was before everything changed.
