What to bring and how to prepare

The easiest way to ensure a smooth newborn session is to prioritize that your baby is well-fed and has had a nap prior to the session to minimize fussiness. Also, dress your baby in loose-fitting clothing to avoid any marks on their skin and to make clothing removal easy for wrapped poses. When preparing for your newborn photography session, it's important to bring items that reflect the unique personality of your baby. Some items you may want to consider bringing include a special blanket, stuffed animals, and other props that can help create a unique setting for the shoot. Additionally, you may want to bring a few extra diapers and an extra bottle (if bottle-fed) in case your little one gets hungry while you're here. A pacifier and extra changes of clothes for your gallery reveal are always a good idea! For information on our studio sessions, click here.
