Ward Shore Park is one of my favorite locations to shoot for its texture. With the dedication of the bench to my mother and the part it played in honoring her passing, it is that much more sacred to our family. We took advantage of a gorgeous evening to watch the ducks.
If you're not familiar with the story of the Muscovy ducks, it's a quite comical recollection of pet ducks being transported by car to our Crystal Coast from up north many years ago. They were let go downtown and they've rightfully earned the place of our town mascot.
I'd love to show around their favorite puddles and hunting grounds!
