When is the best time?

Newborn photos are ideally taken in the first 14 days of life. I personally prefer to capture images between 5-9 days old, especially if you wish to use newborn props in your session. Size, mobility, and sleep are all factors in creating the gorgeous images that you love. Most importantly: keeping in mind, safety. Reach out to your photographer around your 24 week mark to get on the calendar so that your session can be flexed around baby's arrival if need be. You can also avoid the stress of squeezing in that appointment at the last minute.
